Blue-Striped Garter

BLUE-STRIPED GARTER - Malfatti bloodlines (best of the best!), is a beautiful garter species that is uncommon even within its limited range in Western Florida. Colors vary from sky blue to navy blue to dark blue on a blackish/ brown body with minimal speckling. Please note that at birth all Florida babies look, more or less, identical. We do not know which color morph they will turn out to be as adults. Adult females average 24-30", males 16-20". In the wild they feed upon frogs, toads, tadpoles, fish, worms and rodents. Our adults feed aggressively on rodents. We expect to have unrelated bloodlines available this year.
