Normal Red-Sided Garter

NORMAL RED SIDED, in my opinion is one of the most beautiful garter snake in it's normal coloration. Varying amounts of red, yellow and black intermixed to create a stunningly colored snake. This species is found in a large range, from the very southern tip of Alaska, central portions of Canada on south all the way to Texas and eastward to Iowa and Minnesota. Females average 24-30" in length, the males average 12-16". In the wild they feed upon frogs, toads, tadpoles, fish and rodent. Our adults feed aggressively on rodents.
