Axanthic Plains GarterAxanthic Plains Garter

AXANTHIC PLAINS are similiar in appearance to anerythristics in that they both are a dark, almost bluish black colored snake. The best way to differentiate the two morphs is that the axanthics have a lime green dorsal stripe and bluish ventrals whereas the anerythristic's dorsal stripe is slate gray. This trait is co-dominant which means when they are bred, statistically 50% of the offspring will be axanthic. This is an ideal morph to outcross to due to it producing both axanthics and hets or normals.
