Erythristic Albino

This project took years to fulfill, and after many years of nonresponsive albinos and erythristics, finally got lucky in 2008. That year the Carteret

Cty, NC and Myrtle Beach erythristics were successfully bred to Schuett albinos, creating the double hets that ultimately produced the snakes

pictured below. The interesting thing with these is that they looked like normal albinos at birth. Erythristic garters look normal at birth and as they

gain length and mass, their colors begin to show. The albinos were the same, it took about 3 months for them to start to show color so this was

what was expected. Like albino flames, these have color variances too and the colors will dictate the price. In 2010 the following breedings will be

done:

Erythristic albino x Myrtle Beach double het

Erythristic albino x Carteret Cty double het

Erythristic albinos x Flame/erythristic eastern
