Erythistic Garter

ERYTHRISTIC is a naturally occurring color morph found in the southeastern United States. The erythristic trait is co-dominant which means when bred, they will produce erythristics in the first generation. *Please note that as babies these look, more or less, like normal colored garter snakes however as they mature they do gain varying amounts of color. We were the first to have bred erythristics to flames. With the two morphs being co-dominant, we found that the offspring had varying combinations of their colors and/or patterns and were beautiful.
