Aztec Plains

The Aztec was first produced from a seemingly normal Illinois plains garter in 2009 and acquired by Joe Peck. This snake has an extremely clean and crisp pattern and is very Aztec like in appearance. The female pictured will be bred to an unrelated normal male in 2010. Offspring are expected to be hets but in the event that the trait proves out to be co-dominant or even dominant, may have aztecs available too. Unfortunately the lone Aztec female in the collection passed away in brumation in the winter of 2010/2011.. Aztec $95 Het Aztec $50
