Albino Eastern Garter

We currently have multiple albino strains in our collection. These are all unrelated lineages and, to our knowledge, none are compatible with one another.

SCHUETT STRAIN

We acquired a small group of double hets (albino x melanistic crosses) from Kyle Schuett. These double hets produced the first snow eastern in 2004. We expect to have albinos, double hets (albinos x flames) and albinos 66% possible het for snow and melanistic this year

FLORIDA ALBINO

This strain originated in Florida and is one of the more robust albino bloodlines in the collection.

CARAMEL ALBINO

An unusual albino morph that originated in Ontario, Canada. The dorsal stripe is white, ventrals and labials are a carmel, or butter yellow, in color. The head is a grayish color and has pink eyes. The original wildcaught female also has some black markings on her body, which is called paradox trait.

CLASSIC ALBINO

This strain originated in Ottawa, Canada. This strain looks like a classic albino morph, with lavender and white colors on the top part of the body, with a bright yellow stripe on the side stripe and ruby red eyes. This overall coloration makes for a very "crisp" colored albino.
