CB 10 Florida True Blue Striped Garter (Similis)

CB 10 True Florida blue striped garters, these can color up w/ sky blue, turquoise

or lime greenish/blue (Do not know which color's the babies will be as adults).

These are big babies, and are feeding well on feeder fish. Similis have big heads so

are one of the easier garters to switch over to rodents. Pictured are 2 adult females

(not for sale) and a baby that is for sale. The adult's blue color is hard to capture, the

snake in the top pic is sky blue, the snake in the middle pic is a darker shade of blue.

We are high female so only lone females or trios/or extra females will be sold.

These have fed numerous times and are ready to go. There are currently 2 males and

3 females available.

                                                                  $40 each (Sold out)

Thamnophis melanogaster

Born 6/3/2010, a small clutch of 4 babies was produced (2 pairs). This is a Central American garter species, if you look closely at the parents, they have a very natracine look about them. All of the babies had a flamebelly at birth but within 2 days the males

colors disappeared however one of the females did retain her coloration. Pictured

is the mother, father and the babies that are for sale. To my knowledge, this is the

first time that this species has been successfuly bred and offered for sale in the US.

Both males are eating well and are ready to go.

CB 2010 Double Het Nebraska plains x high red plains

A moderate sized clutch of 11 babies was born on 5/19/2010. This is a project that am hopeful will ultimately produce a yellowish/purple albino w/ red and orange intermixed. The high red female is Campbell bloodlines and the albino male is a 50% poss het for Iowa albino holdback. We expect these babies to produce the world's first Nebraska

red albino.

** There are currently 2 males and 3 female available **

                                                     $75 each

CB 2010 Hybino plains

Born 5/18/2010, this hybino female had a clutch of 22 babies. The hybino trait was created from breeding a high red hypomelanistic plains (pictured below) to an Iowa albino plains and then the resulting double hets were bred together to create the world's first hybino. This has been a challenging snake to breed as for several years we had unscuccessfully attempted to breed her to het hybinos. This year and in 2005 she was successfully bred to a group of males. This is the only hybino plains, to our knowledge, in existence. The babies are all 100% het for the hybino trait.

** There are currently 6 males and 2 female available, will sell males only or 2 or more males per female **

$95 each (Males only)

CB 2010 Plains (Hypo female x Het hybino male)

Born 5/14/2010, this is the first time the hypo has been bred in captivity (the first year

it was caught it did produce a litter from breeding in the wild). These babies are decent

sized for garter babies. The babies are all 100% het hypo (unproven) and 50% het hybino.

$50 each/2 for $80

CB 2010 Anerythristic plains

3 litters born in May, there are currently 2 males and 6 female anerythristics available from 3 unrelated litters, with some of the babies being possible het for Iowa snow

and Iowa albino. Breed these to albinos and ultimately create snow plains.

CB 2010 Erythristic/flame eastern x Erythristic albino eastern

Born 5/8/2010, an Erythristic flame female (pictures 6 & 7 below ) was bred to two Erythristic albinos (pictures 8 & 9 below) and produced some beautiful babies. Both flames (sold out) and erythristics were produced, and the brood totaled 22 babies.

When these are crossed to one another, they will produce some stunning outcrossed erythristic albinos, flame albinos and the yet to be produced erythristic/flame albino combo and expect them all to be phenomenol !
