Last of the 2008's The Carteret County bloodline is hands down the prettiest erythristic we've ever owned. She is borderline fire

engine red in color, and is the brightest erythristic in the collection. She was bred to the albino male pictured below her. These

should produce some phenomenol babies; albinos, erythristics and the holy grail of garters, the erythristic albino, which

should be outrageageous. All 3 snakes for sale are feeding on multiple unscented pinkies and will also eat feeder fish.

Florida Blue striped (Similis-true blue garters)

Born 6/9/09, our similis was bred to our bluest male similis and produced a huge litter of 50 babies (48 live, 2 stillborns). The babies are

large by thamnophis standards, which is unusual for broods of this size. The babies start out golden brown in color and as they grow and

mature, they go through color changes. They will turn either sky blue, turquiose blue, limish blue/green or any combinations of these

listed. ** Please note that I do not know which color the babies will turn out to be. **

Flame Eastern garters

Produced from various clutches, there are low, medium and a couple high end flames available. Most of these do color up nicely

as adults, to varying degrees. There are several unrelated bloodlines available. The flames are co-dominant, which means when

        they are bred, statistically 50% of the babies are flames in the first generation.

California red sided-Neon blue phase

Still rare in collections, we have had two clutches born (5/16 & 5/23) to date. These babies were produced by huge female

garters, 40 plus inches, and they throw small clutches (5 and 7 babies- all good sized). The adults are vibrant blue in color

and are the nicest infernalis have ever owned. Please note that this trait has not been proven to be genetic yet, which is

why they are priced nominally more than normal infernalis babies.

Born 5/15 and 5/17, two clutches to date have yielded the first ERYTHRISTIC SNOW in the world ! Top Pic is of the albino. Normal ery-

thristics are not colorful at birth and although hopeful that the albino would be, they proved out to not be colorful either. They will go thru

ontogenetic changes as they grow and gain size and with this, will gain more and more color. There were 9 erythristics born in each clutch,

and these are all 66% possible het for erythristic albino & albino. This means, in generic terms, that statistically two out of every three are

het for erythristic albino and/or albino.

Born 5/13/2009, this brood was produced from a double het Golden/anerythristic red sided bred to a Kansas albino red sided, creating

an outcrossed Kansas albino. These babies are 100% het for Kansas albino/50% possible het for anerythristic and they look like the

mom, who is the prettiest red sided in the collection. Breeding these to one another will statistically produce 25% albinos, 50% hets &

Born 5/10/2009, these little beauties were produced by our 05 anerythristic bred to an outcrossed anerythristic. These are the key

ingredient to producing snows, as well as other new designer morphs. The original female was found in Kansas back in the late 90's.

Born 5/7/2009, these babies were produced from a Nebraska albino male (poss het Iowa albino) that was bred to an anerythristic

plains. The babies are 100% het for Nebraska albino, anerythristic and Nebraska snow. When these are bred back to one another,

statistically they will produce (out of a clutch of 16 babies) 1 snow, 3 albinos, 3 anerythristics, 6 hets and 3 normals. Pictured below

Het Snow Easterns

These babies were produced from a male snow eastern that was bred to a female flame eastern. The babies are all 100% het for

Schuett snow, Schuett albino and melanistic. Interestingly enough no flames were produced in the clutch. These look like the

atypical Ohio eastern garters, it is hard to capture their bronzish coppery coloration. We're heavy female so will only sell lone

females or a trio. Pictured below the babies are the morphs that these are het for.

Born 5/5/2009, the female double het Myrtle Beach erythristic x Schuett albino was bred to a male double het Carteret County

erythristic x Schuett albino, this cross produced (outcrossed) erythristics that are 66% possible het for Schuett albino, (out-

crossed) Schuett albinos that are 66% possible het for Myrtle Beach/Carteret Cty erythristic and melanistics. Note that with

this cross that it creates a strong healthy genetic makeup since the 2 erythristic bloodlines are unrelated. Expect the 2 ery-

thristic traits to somewhat combine w/ one another, creating some interesting colors and patterns. It takes some time for the

red to to start to show in the erythristic babies, they go through octogenic changes as they gain size and mature.
